Biography
Cara Walker is a Lecturer at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø University School of Nursing-Fort Wayne as well as the Executive Director of the IUFW Lafayette Street Family Health Clinic since 2018. She received her BSN from the University of 91³Ô¹ÏÍøpolis in 2007 and began working at IU Health in critical care.
In addition to patient care, she also assisted with quality improvement and unit operations as a Shift Coordinator. In 2012, Walker received her MSN as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of 91³Ô¹ÏÍøpolis. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in both private and public health settings. She previously taught in an ASN program for three and a half years before coming to IU Fort Wayne.
